We were so thrilled to present a giant check—more than $3200—to the Astoria Senior Assistance program. This wonderful local non-profit helps local senior citizens avoid homelessness by providing emergency funds (rent, utility bills, etc.). Our generous shoppers rounded up purchases in January and donated pocket change & reusable bag credits.
Big thanks to Buoy Beer Company for contributing $490! The brewery decided to donate $10 from every case of Astoria IPA sold (the beer they brewed for our grand opening) to our Change for Community program.
This is our biggest single donation to date. It brings our total Change for Community donations close to $30,000 in under two years. Thanks for your support!
