At Astoria Co-op, we’re passionate about fresh, local produce. We work closely with local farmers to bring you and your family the best in-season fruits and veggies at their peak of flavor. There’s always something fun and delicious to try, and we guarantee our produce is fresh and tasty, or your money back. You don’t have to be a member to shop – our doors are wide open to everyone. Whatever your budget and cooking style, you’ll find the neighborhood’s freshest local produce at the co-op.
We have a variety of seasonal bouquets to brighten someone’s day, as well as plants, seeds and dry goods available for gardeners.
Shop for seeds at Botanical Interests through Share A Sale and a portion of the profits will go to the co-op!
Astoria Co+op is the only grocery store in the lower Columbia region to offer Double Up Food Bucks. After success at farmer’s markets, the program has extended to a small number of grocery stores in Oregon.
“Double Up Food Bucks puts more healthy food on the plates of low-income families, while supporting local growers,” said Astoria Co+op General Manager Matt Stanley. “We’re supporting our customers while helping grow a healthier community.”
Double Up matches the value of SNAP spent on fresh fruits and vegetables providing shoppers with credit for future produce purchases, up to $20 per shopping trip. SNAP stands for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as food stamps.
