Blackberry Bog Farm – Astoria, OR

Blackberry Bog Farm is a family run farm in Northeastern Clatsop County. Since starting the farm in 2015 it has grown to be one of the largest produce farms in the area. Scott started dreaming of the farm long ago, so when we found an old abandoned farm in Svensen we went to work clearing the land and planting our first crops. Joined a year later by our son Andrew, the farm now consists of a nursery that grows a wide variety of plants (annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetable starts, shrubs, etc), vegetable fields (everything from artichokes to zucchini), berry fields and patches, an orchard, flowers and pasture-raised livestock (beef and pork).
Our products are varied and unique to Clatsop County. We grow and create nearly everything we sell and it’s all tailored to the local environment and community. The farm is open to the public daily throughout the season, and in addition to a farm stand that sells all the things we grow, we also provide classes, tours and events.
Our goal on the farm is to create a place for everyone who visits to enjoy life the way it was meant to be lived: quality fresh food, magnificent natural spaces, engaging events, relaxation, and community, integrated with local nature.
