Your co-op is proud to carry pork from Low Tide Farms, a local, women-owned business! Kathleen Russell and Brenda Vassau, founders of the Clatskanie-based farm, are passionate about respecting and fostering the health of the land, the animals they care for and the people who eat their food. They use a pasture-based, rotational grazing system for their heritage breed pigs. They strive to raise animals that have the highest quality of life and in turn, produce healthy, flavorful meat.
