Board Election Season is Here – Get Involved!
We’re excited to kick off this year’s Astoria Co+op Board of Directors election cycle!
Serving on the Board is a meaningful way to contribute to the long-term success of your co-op—helping guide strategy, represent owner interests, and ensure we continue to thrive as a community-owned business. Board members receive a 10% discount on purchases (with additional discounts for committee service), along with training and development opportunities.

Come Learn About Board Service
We encourage interested owners to:
- Attend a Board meeting to see governance in action. The Board typically meets on the second Wednesday of each month – check out the Co-op Calendar for upcoming dates and details.
- Join us for our Candidate Mixer on May 20 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Co-op deli seating area.
The mixer is a relaxed opportunity to meet current board members, ask questions, and get a feel for what board service is all about.
